Our farm will be open for 6 weekends in a row this fall. Our opening weekend is September 16th-17th and our last weekend is October 21st-22nd.

Our farm offers many activities for families of all ages to enjoy. We have a historic barn to tour, a fiber mill, pioneer village, yard games, sensory/hands on play activities, petting zoo, playground, yard games, and barrel rides. Included in your admission price of $8.00 which includes a hayride and a pumpkin to take home.
Our farmstore is open during your visit and we will offer apple cider donuts, apple cider slushees, and apple dumplings for purchase.
We are closed during the week to be able to host private field trips for local school groups.
Farm tours are available starting on May 6th, 2024 and run through October 31st, 2024. We will be hosting field trips for children of all ages. In the past, we have provided field trips for preschoolers thru elementary students as well as homeschool groups and high school FFA groups. All of our field trips for preschoolers thru 2nd graders align with state approved curriculum.
If you would like to do a farm tour with your organization or a group of children, please contact us for more information. We can discuss a wide variety of farm topics such as wool processing, egg production, animal husbandry, gardening, and the fiber arts. We look forward to your visit!
We are able to easily host groups from 25-125 people at a time. The minimum charge for a tour is $175 even if you have a group of less than 25 people. Our admission rate is $7 per person for admission for ages 2+. Teachers, Teaching Assistants, and Bus Drivers are always free. We love to host birthday parties for children or even for the young at heart. Birthday parties and family gatherings are our specialty. Our birthday parties are $400. This includes a 2-hour PRIVATE event. It includes all decorations, pick your party animal (sheep or goat), your very own petting zoo, and a bounce house. We do all the setup and cleanup so you can enjoy the party. All you need to bring is the food, drinks, and table service.

We will be hosting our fourth “Fiber Arts Festival” at our farm this year on June 22-23. We are very excited to share our farm with fiber enthusiasts and artists from around the state and beyond! There is a $3.50/admission fee for ages 2+ and you will get to enjoy seeing our historic barn, visit our animals in the petting zoo, playground areas, and shop at various vendor booths for all your fiber art needs. We have a small milkhouse Farmstore that is open daily from 8-8. You can pick up your egg orders in our fridge or shop a smaller selection of our farm goods. If you order online, I will place your order for easy pickup in the milkhouse for you. Just select the on farm pick up option.
We process all of our own Shetland fleeces for handspinners and fiber enthusiasts in our own fiber workshop. We sell raw fleeces, washed fleeces, picked fleeces, roving batts, and handspun yarn. We will ship our products anywhere in the USA or Canada.

We maintain a small flock of Shetland sheep on our farm. Our Shetland sheep are sweet and friendly. We are proud to display a variety of colors and markings in our flock. Our children show Shetland sheep at the County, State and National levels.
Shetland sheep are a heritage breed and are on the watch level for the National Livestock Conservancy. They are hardy foragers, have great mothering skills, and are very docile.
We have a variety of goats ranging from Alpine, Pygmy, Angora, and Boer crosses here are Westwind Farms. Our children show their goats in 4-H and enjoy them as pets.
We have a small rabbitry consisting of Giant, French, and Satin Angora rabbits. We raise them for wonderful fiber, shows, and pets. Angora rabbits are very docile, friendly, and curious.
Also, we have a few New Zealand rabbits that we raise for 4-H projects.
